Holy Trinity Parish will host benefit art auction, barbecue on Friday night; art donations sought
The 102nd Annual Council of the Diocese of Atlanta will include a benefit art auction Nov. 14 during a fun-filled evening at Holy Trinity Parish complete with a barbecue supper, jazz and folk music.
Donations of art works will be needed for the auction. Individuals with art -- of any form -- to donate may contact the Rev. Tim Graham, rector of Good Shepherd, Covington, at rectorx@bellsouth.net or 678-230-8026.
The theme for the 102nd Annual Council is related to the third of the eight Millennium Development Goals -- promoting gender equality and empowering women, and proceeds will be donated to a specified MDG cause benefitting women.
